| Media Converter convert 10/100Base-TX copper connections or 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet connections to 100Base-FX or 1000Base-SX/LX Fiber Optic. They are available for multimode und singlemode Fiber.
With WDM-Technology (Wavelength Multiplexing) they are able to transmit and receive over only one singlemode Fiber. Existing duplex Fiber cables can now used for two links. The converters are available as single desktop versions or the same units can be used in a 19"-Rack. Up to 10 diferent converters can be mixed up in one 19"-Rack Chassis.
